Meet Ernie Kim
My name is Ernie Kim, and I’m running to represent District 4 on the Cottonwood Heights City Council. As a longtime resident, a husband, a father, and a former federal law enforcement officer, I’ve dedicated my life to public service and protecting others. Today, I work as a public safety and security consultant, helping organizations navigate complex challenges with integrity and accountability.
I’m running because I believe our city needs thoughtful, transparent leadership. Leadership that listens and acts in the best interests of the people who live here. Cottonwood Heights is a special place, and I’m committed to preserving our peaks, protecting our community, and ensuring an affordable future.
That means supporting responsible development that respects our mountain views and open spaces, prioritizing public safety, and making sure families, seniors, and small businesses can afford to stay here and thrive.
I’m running for the City Council because I’m a neighbor who cares deeply about the future of our city. I’ll bring practical experience, a steady voice, and a commitment to working with everyone to make Cottonwood Heights even stronger.
